Pre-Frolic Dinner for this Saturday:
The February pre-Frolic dinner will take place at Vivio's, 2460 Market Street in Eastern Market, next to R. Hirt cheese shop. We will occupy the upstairs banquet room which includes our own bar and servers. There is a lot of free parking across the street from Vivio's. All details remain the same: The $30.00 price includes tax and tip; all alcohol paid by the buyer. Arrive at 5:30 for cocktails, sit down for dinner at 6:30. Call the Players playhouse to give us a number. Last month we had 40 call in and 53 showed up, though the more, the merrier. We hope to see you there.

Gentlemen of Players,
Players has received permission to perform Jeff Daniels’ Tropical Pickle for the Fall Invitational. Our Board of Governors has already approved four performances (Nov 4 & 5th and Nov 11th & 12th).
This is an open casting call to all members, in good standing, of The Players. The ‘cattle call’ will be held Saturday, Aug 13h from 10AM – 1PM and again on Aug 20th from 10am – 1PM (This is dream cruise weekend). If neither of those dates are agreeable to your schedule and you would like to be considered, please email me ASAP.
If you come to the cattle call and are not in the cast, YOU WILL BE GUARANTEED a spot onstage this year. We are a gentleman’s club. Everyone gets to play ball.
Tropical Pickle is a high energy play. A couple roles call for a lot of movement. One role is handcuffed to a chair
