Committee Updates - Member Data

The Committees section has been updated to allow access and visibility to the committee members, chairpersons will be indicated soon to allow Players to see who they will need to contact regarding acceptance to the committee.

Committee chairs can add and remove members of their committee from this page now, if you are a committee chairman and are not indicated so on the Committees page then please contact the webmaster for assistance.

In addition to committee updates the Members section has been updated with all of the members that were current as of the 2007-2008 season. Some members need to be added and some removed, but in the meantime this should serve as a valuable tool for contact references.

Check out the Contact section for new and improved email addresses which will allow you to get a hold of the appropriate authority within the Club without having to know who it is and what their email address is!

In addition, the Committee page has a few contact emails for each respective committee, you must be authorized and logged in to view this page. If you are a committee chair and wish to have your email added to your entry please contact the webmaster.

Unable to log in

If you are unable to log in please make sure that your password is correct, if you forgot your password please use the 'Reset Password' link and follow the instructions.

As it is the end of the regular Players season if you are past dues and have not set up a payment plan with the board of governors bog@playersdetroit.org then you may not be able to log in to the site anymore. If this is the case then you will be re-instated after arrangements have been made.

RUNNING OUT OF TIME!

A Challenge Grant!

A Player who wishes to remain anonymous is most pleased with both the pace and quality of recent Playhouse projects, i.e., the facade, the front doors, the kitchen, the aisle lighting, the traveler curtain, the enhanced security system, etc. To continue this wonderful momentum, the Player will donate up to $2,500.00 toward the purchase/renovation/etc. of the large backstage double doors. Basically, the anonymous Player will match every dollar other

Player members donate toward this project to a maximum of $2,500.00. His understanding from information published in several issues of The Player is that the cost for this project is $5,000.00.

There is a stipulation attached to this donation, however. The donations from the other Players must be received by The Players no later than the May 2008 Annual Meeting. The May Annual Meeting is Wednesday, May 21, 2008 and we are way short of the goal! Please help us get this money by calling the office with your donation A.S.A.P.!!

The votes for the 2008 May Invitational were submitted this past Frolic and the decision is in the process of being made. Rumor has it that Florida has some competent ballot officials so if the Board of Governors and Scripts and Casting can not come up with the results then we could always send your votes down there and let them decide!

Going back in time with Frolics

Due to a pretty incredible CD handed off to me from Player Bob Borsodi via Player Bob O'Leary we have been able to start uploading images from frolics that date back to the year 1980!

Registered members can check out the Photos Page (as long as you are logged in) so you can see images starting back in November 1980 for the show Harvey.

Currently not all months are uploaded however keep checking back to see some of your favorites as they are added.

Players Web Site updates

Web site modifications have been made so you have the ability to change your user details, email address, and security question/answer.

Users that signed up and did not add their personal information now show up under the "Members" page to be viewed by approved Players.
